WELCOME
TO OUR NEW HOME

The most exciting step in Wasps' 147 year history is about to be taken as we move to a stadium which boasts world-class facilities for supporters, players and business partners alike.

Our move to the Ricoh Arena means Wasps will enjoy the most extensive club rugby facility in Europe and help us to re-establish ourselves as one of the best clubs in world rugby.

We look forward to establishing deep roots in Coventry & Warwickshire, working hard to become part of the community and we would encourage all sports fans to come down and enjoy the European and Aviva Premiership rugby on offer.

Everyone is welcome at the Ricoh Arena.

STEP INSIDE OUR STADIUM

To now have our own home, of the quality of the Ricoh Arena, is an incredibly exciting development in the history of our Club. I have special memories of beating Munster here with Wasps and also of scoring a try for Wasps against Northampton Saints in the 2007 Semi Final. We went on to be crowned European Champions that year.

RUGBY AT THE RICOH

The Ricoh Arena, already the scene of two great Wasps triumphs, is a world class venue which will be a superb home for an elite rugby club.

No Wasps' fan will ever forget our victory over Northampton Saints in the 2007 Heineken Cup Semi Final, the year we went on to be crowned European Champions, or the epic comeback against Munster as we began the defence of our title the following season.

TRAVEL BY ROAD

• For details of routes to the Ricoh Arena, click here.
• The post code for Sat Nav is CV6 6GE

The stadium is less than one mile from Junction 3 of the M6 or only 14 miles from Junction 15 of the M40.

The Ricoh boasts parking for 2,000 cars on site and there are three entrances /exits in use on match day, making the arena easy to access and leave without lengthy traffic queues.

A Park and Walk scheme is also available, with offsite parking within 10 mins.

TRAVEL BY RAIL

There are two stations within seven miles of the Ricoh - Coventry and Nuneaton. Rugby and Warwick Parkway are also within easy reach.

• Euston station to Coventry station - 55 mins
• Birmingham New Street to Coventry - 20 mins
A free shuttle bus service from Coventry Station and Warwick Parkway station to the stadium will be provided on match days for supporters travelling by train.

A new railway station will open at the Ricoh Arena during the 2015/16 season. Return shuttle trains will run every 10 minutes, directly between Coventry station and the stadium station..

EASY ACCESS

Wasps will provide free shuttle buses from designated, convenient locations around High Wycombe and West London to transport supporters to the Ricoh Arena.

The Ricoh Arena has multiple entrances and exits making access to the stadium quick and efficient.

A traffic light system is also controlled on site to speed the flow of traffic out of the arena after a match or event.

Thanks to the ease of access and quality of the traffic flow system in place at the Ricoh, although being further in distance, we anticipate journey times being similar door to door as it is for Adams Park for many of our supporters.

Usually car parks are emptied within 30 minutes of the final whistle.

OUR WANDERING DAYS ARE OVER

NOT SINCE OUR DAYS AT SUDBURY, ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO, HAVE WE BEEN AN OWNER OF OUR OWN HOME, UNTIL NOW...

OUR JOURNEY

In 147 years, Wasps have played at numerous grounds; from Finchley Road to Loftus Road, from Hampstead Heath to High Wycombe. In 1923, Wasps found a permanent ground by moving to Sudbury, which was to be our home for 73 years. The dawn of professional rugby meant we were on the move, firstly to Loftus Road to share with Queens Park Rangers before - in 2002 - moving to Adams Park, where we shared with Wycombe Wanderers.

Our wandering days are over with perhaps the most exciting development in our history. We are thrilled to call the Ricoh Arena home and we're looking forward to working hard to become part of the community, building our long-term future in Coventry and Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to put Wasps back at the top of English and European rugby union, heights we have scaled before.

WHO WE ARE

One of the best known names in English rugby. Wasps are the last English club to have been crowned European Champions and have won six league titles.

In 2004, Wasps achieved a remarkable double, being crowned European and English Champions in the same season. The Club has also won the Anglo Welsh Cup and Parker Pen Challenge Cup. Between 1999 and 2009 Wasps reached 10 finals and won each of them.

Wasps compete in the Aviva Premiership, European Rugby Champions Cup and LV=Cup. Dai Young is our Director of Rugby and England international James Haskell is our captain, supported by vice captains Chris Bell and Matt Mullan.
